Communication has played a vital role in the growth of any community. The strong need for communication motivated Akhil Bhartiya Jangid Brahmin Mahasabha to publish the first social magazine named Jangra Samachar in March 1908. The magazine was published by Pt. Brij Lal Sharma, Edited by Pt. Dal Chand Sharma, Managed by Pt. Baldev Prasad and Contracted and Reviewed by Pt. Pala Ram.
In its initial period, there were many low and high conditions to run the magazine in a proper manner. But with co-operation of samaj candidates, it continued on the way. Pt. Dal Chand Sharma successfully carried out their work for 3 years. After the month of December 1913, the Jangra Samachar was discontinued due to the dissolution of Peoples Bank.
Thereafter there were many tides in the publication. Its publication location, Publisher, Editors were changed from time to time. In 1933, the magazine was renamed as Jangid Brahmin, which is continued till date.
